This is a PH 6 – 6 1 2 Charlottenborg Pendant Light, initially designed by Poul Henningsen for Louis Poulsen in Denmark in 1925. These examples date to ca. 1979. The listed price includes one pendant, and we have four pendants available for purchase. Their design was rereleased after a production hiatus when two Danish architects, Ebbe Christensen and Sophus Frandsen, resurrected and edited the design for use in their Charlottenborg Exhibition Building in Copenhagen. These particular fixtures were previously installed in the renowned Sears Tower in Chicago (now Willis Tower) designed by Skidmore, Owings, and Merrill (SOM) Architects.

Each pendant measures 26.5 inches in diameter, and they have a height of 16.5 inches. They currently have a drop of 60 inches, but this may be altered to your specifications upon installation. The pieces have been freshly cleaned. There are some scattered light scuffs and surface scratches to the enameled aluminum shades. Overall, these pendants are in very good condition. Please see photos.
