This is a Saarinen armless executive chair, model No. 72 US-BC, designed by Eero Saarinen for Knoll in 1950. This particular example retains its 655 Madison Avenue label, signifying it is a 1980s production. It has a brushed stainless steel 4-star base and is upholstered in a light green woven hopsack fabric.
The chair measures 32 inches tall, 22 inches wide and 20 inches deep. The original fabric is in very good condition, with some small pulls to fabric. The brushed matte steel base shows some light scratches. Overall the chair is in very good condition with light wear from use. Please see photos.
