1990s Mandarin Chair by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll Steel, Foam, Padding, Wood, Plastic Cheap

These are Mandarin Chairs, designed by Ettore Sottsass and produced by Knoll in 1986. The listed price includes one chair, and we have three available for purchase in this colorway. These examples were produced in the 1990s. They have sculptural, silver enameled-steel arms, and have an upholstered seat & back in a geometric patterned fabric. It’s all about the arms on these chairs… unmistakably Sottsass.

Each chair measures 21 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and is 32 inches high. They have a seat height of 18 inches. Their enameled-steel arms show some scuffs to the surface, and the upholstery fabric is a bit worn. There are some marks on the legs. Overall, these chairs are in solid vintage condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
