This is a Mandarin Chair, designed by Ettore Sottsass for Knoll in 1986. This chair dates to 1995. It has sculptural, silver enameled-steel arms, and has an upholstered seat & back in a dark pink fabric. It’s all about the arms on these chairs… unmistakably Sottsass.
The chair measures 21 inches deep, 26 inches wide, and is 32 inches high. It has a seat height of 18 inches. The enameled-steel arms show some scuffs to the surface, and the upholstery fabric is a bit worn. There are some marks on the legs. Overall, this chair is in solid vintage condition with some signs of use. Please see photos.
