This is a pair of Four Seasons Bar Stools, initially designed by Mies Van Der Rohe and Phillip Johnson in 1958 for the Four Seasons Restaurant in the Seagram Building in New York. The design is believed to be a collaboration between van der Rohe, who designed the building, and Johnson, who designed the restaurant. The listed price includes the pair, which dates to 2012. Their design features a chromed-steel cantilever base, and has a black leather seat. This stool was not formally put into production by Knoll until 2006. It coordinates beautifully with van der Rohe’s Brno chair, which flanked the dining tables at the restaurant.

Each stool measures 17.5 inches deep, 17.25 inches wide, and is 30 inches high. There are a few small scratches on the seats, and the bases have some small scuffs. Overall, this pair of stools is in very good condition. Please see photos.
